“We were on a day sail coming back from Diamond Head to the Ala Wai Harbor and I went up from the cockpit to the bow to join my 4 guests who were enjoying cocktails and watching whales on the bow. After about 45 minutes of sitting there enjoying their company, one of them turned to me and said, “Wait a minute…If you are up here with us, who’s sailing the boat? Is it on auto-pilot?” I answered, “I have auto-pilot but it’s not engaged. I just set the sails and the boat sails itself.” – Otter’s owner.
